Our Consumer Directed Services (CDS) program helps people with physical disabilities obtain assistance with personal care and daily activities to maintain or increase their independence. It does not include any task performed by a licensed professional. A participant of CDS must be able to direct the care planning process and hire an attendant. These services include personal care, toileting, housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation, and more.
Our In-Home Services program assists in meeting the unmet needs of a client and provide necessary assistance for the client to remain in the least restrictive environment within their home. If you are unable to self-direct or choose not to do so, you may be eligible for this program. We work closely with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS). It is possible to receive services from both CDS program and IHS program at the same time.
